my band "how near, how far" just finished our 4 song ep called "The Loved & Lost ep" over the 1st of June. we are really psyched on how it all came out and you can hear two of the songs on our myspace (3 by this sunday) at...

we are in the midst of playing a bunch of shows and getting the cd to everyone we possibly can. we are also trying to get back on our feet financially so we can get a van and trailer and be able to start touring.

June 3, 2008…..DANE WILD UPDATE
I've been MIA for the past month, i know, im sorry. I was asked by my good friend Ron Thomas to do stunts shows for a month. It took me to St. Louis, Pasadena Texas, PA, VA, WVA, MD, Ohio and Michigan. I got to ride in gyms, parking lots and fair grounds, it was an awesome experience, and im looking forward to doing it again. As far as summer goes, i plan on working a bit, playing with my pup, and traveling a lot, so look forward to some good flicks and clips coming soon!

May 19, 2008….. CHAD'S NEW BIKE …..Chad just put his brand new frame together, heres some pics. Chad says: “Bike is together and fucking dope. I sparkle painted it and everyone is freaking on it. Everything is totally perfect on it. Super light, rides sooooo good. Ill get some riding pics right away. I am going to New Orleans, Pittsburg, toronto, chicago, and cleveland in the next two months...packed schedule...will have a web edit for you really soon and pics for the site...Chad”

LUDWICK UPDATE …..hey what's up guys, just letting you know the frame is holding up awesome. definitely taking all the abuse I give it haha. honestly every kid that rides my bike (whether they are trails kids, street, or park kids), wants that frame without a doubt in their minds. its pretty unreal to hear friends of mine that are sold on a certain frame say that they'd ride mine. but yea, I've been talking to brett, chad and dane about the seats and shirts and whatnot, and I am super psyched to see those come out. well things are well on this end, take care!

APRIL 28, 2008.... MORE FROM JOHN LUDWICK...."thursday i fell on a footjam whip and split both shins open pretty bad, one leg may be stitches worthy, but i've been keeping them as clean as possible haha.
Friday, saturday, and sunday, my band stayed in greenfield mass to record our new album, we put in some serious hours over the weekend and slept in our cars in a home depot parking lot every night haha. everything is coming out amazing and hopefully in the next few weeks we"ll have some extra money to go back and finish everything up and get the cd ready.
I am also currently looking for a full time job so i can live comfortably and be able to support the band as well as myself. the bike shop ive worked at for almost 4 years now cant give me the hours i really need. so hopefully i can find a job that will allow me to continue to travel as much as i can.

APRIL 24, 2008.... THIS IS WHY TM'S SHOULDNT RIDE ...Versa TM Brett Rohlfing recently took a peg to the foot, instead of landing a tailwhip he ended up landing himself on crutches . By the looks of it, luckily he still was able to make the most of one his few weekends off work. Looks like he got a nice, kind nurse to check him out. Hey that's not his foot! The extent of his injury is unknown at this point but he doesn’t think anything is broken.
APRIL 23, 2008.... DANE WILD ON ALBES ROAD TRIP...."Florida was awesome, good guys, good times, great fun. We went to freakin' wrestle mania! Hahahahaha, sooo good! thanks chad! APRIL 2008 .... DEGROOT SAYS...."Went to Tampa to ride a pool a few weeks ago, but as Florida weather would have it, rain decided to fill the pool enough where it would be a days work to ride it. Tampa isn't without options for spots. Never been to this spot with how many times I have been to Tampa area.
My lady and me drove down to an exhibit called Bodies, sure you have heard of it or been to it. It caught on really big and is all over the country. If you haven't seen it, please go. It will open your eyes and even scare you. But at least you will learn how and why our bodies work. Anyways, this shovel is right there in the parking lot. Very weird, but worth the session..."
MARCH 2008 .... MORE FROM JOHN LUDWICK...."I went on a weekend trip to long island new york last weekend to ride and shoot photos with keith romanowski. after getting a bunch of good photos (including a bike check which ill have soon) I sprained (or possibly broke) my wrist really bad saturday night. as of now I have it wrapped up and am taking best care possible with it. my band has a big show this thursday the 20th, so I'm not getting it xrayed until after the show and just toughing it out. hopefully its just a sprain and I don't need a cast, the band also has two big shows next weekend so I have high hopes everything will be ok. the bike is riding amazing and I am real happy with it. I will have all the photos in the next couple of days so I'll send them over soon!

MARCH 2008 ....LUDWICK CHECKS IN ...."i built my bike up last week and was still waiting on forks but a friend let me borrow his, so i immediately went riding. the frame is unbelievable, seriously the best frame ive ever been on, so happy with everything about it! my forks came in yesterday so i'll take some photos of it soon and send those over. i also shot some photos sunday for a vitalbmx scene report with josh kirkland. the photos came out amazing so hopefully we'll see those up soon. im working on a web edit for the website, im headed to ct and long island this weekend most likely to film and shoot some photos. so hopefully by next week i'll have a web edit and photos for you guys!

CHAD SAYS: "Just got back from a short trip to Tallahassee. Went up there with the Profile team and Brian Kachinsky. There is more than enough street and bike worthy places to make it a sweet trip. Florida is pretty known for sand and no handrails, cept up in the panhandle. The first day we were hassled every spot we went to, threats of jail even. We sessioned two colleges and had access to over 50 schools, if that wasn't enough, the skatepark doesn't turn off their lights. There are signs all over, "no bikes", but if your not a dick and stay out of the way of skaters, there is no need for problems. I actually got respect from a few cause of my chewbacca-like beard. Hair man, I got some serious hair...he said "if I ever am able to grow a beard, I want it to be like that".

RELAX, KID. WE JUST GOT DONE BUILDING THE LAST PROTOTYPES, AND SENT THEM OUT TO OUR PRO AND FLOW TEAM GUYS. WE WILL HAVE THE FINAL SPECS DONE WITHIN A WEEK OR SO AND HAVE THEM UP ON THE SITE. YES, BY THE WAY, THEY ARE BUILT IN-HOUSE RIGHT HERE IN THE USA. WE WILL KEEP IT THAT WAY UNTIL WE CANT MEET THE DEMAND. GOT TWO MODELS WE ARE TESTING RIGHT NOW.
